In the eighties and nineties it was all about the Victorian Look. I love collecting antiques, but unfortunately they can be quite expensive. So over the years I have made great finds here and there, combing the antique stores across the west. But over the years my taste has changed, both my husband and myself have fallen in love with the Craftsman Style.

| My most recent find an antique rocking chair, |

I have no idea how old this chair is, I just thought it looked really cool. I paid a little over $200 for it, and that is expensive in my book, but I think it was a good buy. I have never seen a rocking chair with claw feet and dragon heads.
My daughter said she is pretty sure the wicked witch sat in that chair before she killed Hansle and Gretel.
hahahahaha
But back to why I am starting this blog.
Last year we finally brought our first home....YAY....After years and years of wanting to do our own thing we finally have the chance.
SO
I am going to post the amazing transformation of our 1961 home into a Craftsman Home.
This is what our home looked like before we started any of our projects.
AND NOW
Just one year later the look is taking shape.
But we are far from finished this is just the start.
